Đêm Văn Nghệ - Còn Đâu Tuổi Thơ raised $20,741

Local Heroes Making Differences:

You do not have to be in any formal group or organization to make a difference!

A group of Friends in the Bay Area opened their hearts and took actions on September 19, 2009 to raise almost $21K, far exceed their $10K goal, for ACWP’s programs.

The fundraising event (Con Dau Tuoi Tho) was held at My Tho restaurant which included dinner, entertainment, and dancing.

Together this event raised awareness on children/human trafficking problems (Saving children in Crisis project (Vietnam and Cambodia)) and ACWP solutions which included vocational skills training through ACWP’s BLOOM training restaurant .

ACWP appreciates all of the event’s supporters and motivated coordinators.

Special thanks to Nga Vu ,Cung Dang, My Hanh Do, Phuong Anh Pham, Quang Phung, Thanh & Tu Dang, Huyen Nhung, and Khanh Tran for organizing this event.

News - Post Event Report
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new event program called “The ACWP Post Event Report with Linh TonNu“.   Ms. Linh Ton Nu is lovingly known among the ACWP board of directors and staff as the ACWP cheerleader, enforcer, and commander.       The “ACWP Post Event Report with Linh TonNu  blends in-depth report with a delightful and a gentle touch of humor giving ACWP members (old and new) a chance to discover ACWP from a fresh perspective of a volunteer, donor, and an active community organizer . The “ACWP Post Event Report with Linh TonNu” will be periodically posted following a fundraising event, featuring some of our ACWP's new or long-time donors, volunteers, or project manager’s thoughts and behind-the-scene activities.
